We had heard of this restaurant, but never been here. It is located in the same building as the Mining Exchange, but facing E Pike Peak Ave. We entered the large open restaurant and saw the displays of baguettes and croissants in the lighted cases beside the register where you order. After perusing the menus on the walls, I asked the friendly staff member if they had daily specials (as I'd seen online). She replied that the other two locations probably had daily specials, but that their menu was not as varied. She mentioned that they had black bean soup as their soup du jour. I decided to try the French onion soup, which others had raved about in reviews, while my husband chose the tomato and herb omelette which came with a French roll and fruit (pineapple and cantaloupe). After ordering, we chose a table for two against one wall, where we noted the framed art of local artists display and for sale. The young lady returned a few minutes later to sadly inform me that the French onion soup was not heated yet. I inquired how long it would take to be ready, and was told it would take quite a while. So I decided to try the black bean soup which came with a French roll. Our food arrived quickly and was plated beautifully. My husband's omelette, while small, was very savory and tasty. The fruit was obviously very fresh. He especially loved the French roll, which had the typical very crusty, almost tough, crust around an interior of soft and fragrant French bread. My soup was also delicious. It was savory and delicious. I also enjoyed the French roll. We plan to come again and try some other things - I really want to try the French onion soup next time!

I wonder if folks overlook La Baguette as "just a bread place"? That's too bad because this restaurant has some of the best food you will experience! Since I was staying next door at The Mining Exchange, having breakfast here was a no-brainer. My friend and I each ordered a different quiche for breakfast. Such a delicious meal: My ham and cheese quiche was delicate, rich, and flavorful with quality cheese and ingredients. (No colby-jack cheese will ever be found here...) And, it came with a fresh salad and a baguette roll. I had forgotten how good the food is at La Baguette. Thanks for reminding me!

La Baguette is always so calm and clean. The location can get busy but on a good day is a great place to study or read. The potato leak soup was fresh and homemade when I went. Unfortunately, a lot of the baked goods were gone but I still got a decent croissant.

Food is always wonderful and the service is amazing and friendly and pretty quick too! The atmosphere is busy and yet homey and welcoming. Local artists pairings grace the walls, listed for sale. Which is a nice touch when you're visiting! It's a busy little place with homemade everything (from what I could tell) the chocolate croissants are phenomenal as are the cream cheese croissants and the French bread. The omelettes were tasty and cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was wonderful. It's quickly becoming our favorite location in the Springs. We have never had bad food or service there in the few years we've been visiting while on vacation. Highly recommend!

New to Colorado Springs and we decided to stop here for breakfast. WOW!!! Such amazing food, very fresh. The fruit was ripe and delicious. The croissant sandwich blew me away. I'm very particular about my eggs and these were perfect. The cashier was very sweet and helpful, as well as the staff that brought us our food. There are plenty of 2 top tables and a few larger tables as well as outdoor seating. The aesthetic of the cafe is very inviting and cozy. We spent about $55 for 3 people, $65 including tip, and we got 1 coffee, 2 lattes, 3 breakfast sandwiches and an apple croissant. We can't wait to come back!

After perusing Yelp for a quick bite to eat during a recent lunch break, I stumbled upon La Baguette; it checked all the boxes for me: close to the office I was working in, reasonably priced, and had a pretty good selection of food. Score. I stopped in a bit after the lunch hour (maybe 1:30-ish?) on a Tuesday to grab a sandwich to go. The general vibe of the dining room seemed pretty relaxed; there were a few tables that were dining in, and many other folks who were in my shoes - just stopping in to grab a bite while they had time to be away from their desk. I think that this place would be great to have a sit-down breakfast/brunch at though! The area is very spacious with lots of tables and (at least on a weekday at the hour I arrived) wasn't terribly busy. I'm sure that it would be different on weekends or other generally popular times to go out. It didn't take long for me to decide, and I was rung up and waiting for my food in what seemed like no time. I went with the turkey and swiss sandwich. I was given the option of a baguette or croissant. I went with the baguette. I was also asked if I wanted any mayo or mustard and responded positively - yaaass to condiments. At least for me. After getting my paper bag to go, I marched my way back to the office to inhale my meal and immediately regret the baguette. It tore the inside of my mouth up to the point that I couldn't even finish it - I should have gone with the croissant. Mayo and mustard containers were provided and added a nice variation of flavor to the sandwich. The meal also came with a side of fruit, which was 5 or 6 grapes in a plastic bag. Not bad, per se, but made me laugh. For a sandwich, I think that you could probably make something better at home and bring it in to work for the price you pay for bread and a few slices of deli meat and lettuce, but this was my saving grace during the trip to COS... minus the torn-up roof of my mouth LOL. I generally liked the flavors and felt like the ingredients (minus the baguette, really) were freshly sliced. It kinda sucks that the bread was as crusty as it was - and not in a fresh way - but I know I'll be back in the area in the future and will def give this place another shot. It was good all things considered!

Went here for some breakfast with my work colleagues. This little French bakery is full of yummy bread! They've got a cute little display case full of yummy desserts and another by the cash register full of breakfast croissant fillings, mmmmm. Behind the counter is lots of fresh baked bread. Bread speaks my language of tummy love. Lol The bakery is cute with a laid back atmosphere. The staff is friendly and quick. I ordered a green tea and the breakfast croissant which is composed of egg, ham, and Swiss cheese. The breakfast sandwich came with fruits. My croissant sandwich was very hearty and delicious. Next time, I'd like to come back and try one of their croissant fillings. If you're in town and love fresh baked bread, swing by here and grab yourself some food.
